LANDSCAPES

The Landscapes assignment for me was definitely the most difficult/frustrating. I have came to the conclusion that the reason why it was so difficult was because we were required to deliver more then just one version of a landscape and I wasn’t really understanding the reason for this being. This once again advanced my knowledge of Photoshop/Corel Painter. I like the fact that we watched a movie to help us understand the Landscapes more in depth. I really did struggle on the different versions on the Landscapes.

POP ART



Finally, we achieved to get to the last assignment. In this assignment we took a picture of our face and tried to make two pop arts (one from each software). Software’s we used were Photoshop and flash. Photoshop was undeniably the harder pop art of the two. Since in flash we just used a brush and in Photoshop we used the lasso tool as well as making a work path. I liked how once we finished the Photoshop and Flash one we could make backgrounds and it was interesting to see other people’s artwork. I did struggle on the Photoshop one because of its tools but found my way around it. Overall I am glad we did the Pop art project.



REFLECTION

Before I didn’t really like art and wasn’t very interested in it but I soon came to my consensus and realized that I like art and its creativity. Also at the beginning of the semester I didn’t know how to do any of these things but now I have learned how to do awesome things. I also learned that art isn’t as boring as I use to think it was. Now I’m glad I took this class since I developed a better knowledge in technology and its benefits.

MYTHICAL BEAST

The real Tiger Shark lives in deep oceans and feeds of smaller fish. During the summer it comes out to swim around. During the winter it stays in the ocean and sleeps mostly. 

SPACE

The Spacescapes was debatably one of the easier assignments of the semester but with out a doubt one of the fun assignments. This assignment showed me basic knowledge to Photoshop that I would later use in other assignments. What I liked about the Spacescapes is that the planets were created quickly and easily. Why I struggled with was the creativity part since I wasn’t very good at thinking of new and creative ways to do things.
